I have been told for a while that the first place you can get better armor is Lion's Arch. I was checking it out last night and LA has the same armor you can get right out of searing, in Ascalon City. Well, I suppose they also have the armor you can get in Yak's Bend, but all that does is add a little fire protection, no extra armor. Where's the good stuff? I'm playing a Ranger primary, and I think it's kinda ridiculous that I'm level 15 and I am wearing the same armor I have been wearing since around level 6 or 7.

I ran to Beetletun last night, and let me tell you - even at 15th level that is one dangerous jaunt. So I'm thinking "Cool, they ought to have some good stuff here". Wrong. Same armor, just armor level 49 instead of 40. 9 better. Where is the 50/55/60 armor?

The wyvern set in Lions Arch is 55. The rest are 50. But that is for a warrior, not sure for you ranger peeps.

Ahh thanks. I had forgotten about that listing. Now, next question I suppose is - how far is it to go from LA to Ventari's Refuge? I mean, not how far map-wise, how many missions or what kind of time frame am I looking at? That 70 armor is calling my name....

that lvl 70 armor isnt there, i cant find it anywhere i got lvl 61 ranger armor

Was In Quarrels few days ago and they did not sell gladiators armor ....

Yes, I have the 61 armor myself. They really musta changed the armor situation since beta. I got my 61 armor from the collectors in and around Druid's Overlook, however I have never found the collector that gives you the leg armor of that set. It's really annoying, I have spent at least 12 hours just looking for that collector. If anyone knows where the bastard is, please fill me in.

i just bought an Expertise Superior Rune and i really don't wanna mess this up...

LOL I don't blame ya. So far I haven't lost a rune when salvaging old armor, but I have been lucky. My buddy lost 2 of his runes.

Honestly, none of the info at GWOnline can be trusted anymore, it's all old info. (A lot like the stuff that was on Guru until a while back. ^^)
